ბაგრატის ტაძრის ტერიტორიაზე ლიფტი აღარ დამონტაჟდება.
ამის შესახებ შეთანხმება გუშინ კულტურის სამინისტროში გამართულ შეხვედრაზე შედგა. საქართველოს საპატრიაქოს ინფორმაციით ტაძრის დასავლეთ მკლავის პროექტის ავტორი, არქიტექტორი ანდრეა ბრუნო ეკლესიის მოთხოვნას დათანხმდა. ძეგლის მეორე სართულზე აღარ მოხდება შუშის იატაკის გამოყენებაც.

"საქართველოს საპატრიარქო არის ინიციატორი და მხარს უჭერს ბაგრატის ტაძრის აღდგენას, მხოლოდ იმ სახით, რომელიც მას ძველ იერს მაქსიმალურად დაუახლოვებს"-ნათქვამია საპატრიარქოს განცხადებაში.
